{Style} Fleur Sure...

You know me, always quick to jump on the cheesy-pun express... So when I find a floral print worthy of some good old fashioned word play, you bet your sweet Asos (zing!) I'm going for it— Fleur sure.

Anyway, I picked this blouse up during my inaugural Target Canada visit last week, which has led to re-wearing said shirt more times than I care to admit. But seriously, just try and have a bad day when you're packing tha much floral print action, I dare you... It just can't be done.

{Style} Mixed Bag...

I love a sneak peek as much as the next girl, so when Nella Bella sent me their Filix Shopper Tote to preview from their Summer 2013 collection, I was pleased as punch. The bag is sleek and simple in design, which makes it a great go-to for work and travel (in case you haven't noticed, it's huge), and no matter how much I bog it down with the contents of my life, its handles are super comfortable under the added weight. To test this, I toted around a laptop, heels, extra makeup and book yesterday and lived to tell the tale... Now that's what I call a durable bag.

Seasonal Shift...

To me, this dress (last seen here and here) just screams Christmas... I mean come on, red plaid? It's undeniably festive. So when I wore it to a farmers market one crisp fall day, I couldn't help but think of all the upcoming yule-related cheer. Slightly premature? Yes, but fun all the same...

Do The Polka...

You've seen them sprawled across magazines, catwalks and virtually every square inch of retail space lately... That's right my friends, I'm talking about polka dots. There's nothing new about this timeless print, but the seasoned dot is hitting fall hard this year and I couldn't be more pleased. I don't know about you, but I plan on loading up with as many dot-emblazonded items as my wardrobe (and wallet) can handle this year!

Back Again...

So after spending a lovely a summer back home on the west coast, I just returned to Edmonton (my home away from home) for my final year of j-school... We walked through the door yesterday around 10:30 am, and can you guess where I was by that very afternoon? That's right, my friends - the West Ed Mall! (My home away from home away from home... if that makes any sense). Sad? Maybe, but I had missed that monstrosity of a mall more than words! True Story.

Now I don't know if it was me trying to be good or my lack of sleep, but I walked out of the mall with only one thing: a salmon coloured H&M blouse. It was super cheap ($19.90!) and proved to be the perfect top for errand-running today. I love the fit (slightly oversized) and asymmetrical cut, with the back considerably longer than the front. I had wanted a top like this all summer long, but Victoria is slightly lacking in the shopping department... *Understatement*

What can I say? It's good to be back!

Into the Meadow...

These photos were taken spur of the moment while strolling through the park... I wasn't necessarily prepared for them, but we were so taken by the lovely scenery that we really couldn't resist. Doesn't it just look like the dreamiest autumn backdrop? Not that I'm complaining about all the lovely weather we've finally been having, but all that golden grass made me yearn for the days of warm layers, deep hues and textured tights... Does that make me sound crazy? Maybe. But the grass is always greener on the other side.

Wardrobe Wednesday...

When I saw these sandals at Winners last weekend, I instantly knew I had to have them... First of all, I really liked the design (toga party anyone?) as well as the material - they're jellies! How awesome is that? And as you can imagine, a total throwback to my childhood ;)

Finally, these bad boys are surprisingly comfy and, here's the clincher, super cheap! At a whopping $25, how could I resist? *sigh*
