When temperatures drop, I like to add bright layers and beautiful accessories to the mix to dull the pain of yet another winter. Plaid, suede and tortoise details aside, I'm totally ready for fall and it has everything to do with the fact that I've already had my first Pumpkin Spice Latte of the season... My boss nearly tackled me when I offered her one yesterday (I guess somebody's a little puritanical when it comes to seasonal goods), but workplace outbursts aside (I kid, I kid), it was sooooo worth it... PSL's for the win!

Boyfriend jeans are one of those things that are eternally on my to-buy list, but somehow it just wasn't in the cards for me... Until now, that is. After randomly wandering into the Gap under the lure of $8 T-shirts (true story), I felt compelled to try on these distressed bad boys that were hanging all sad-like in the corner. Long story short, I'm officially a boyfriend jean devotee, even if I'm epically late to the party... Just don't hold that against me.

New bags make everything better, even if I'm slightly scared to use this one for fear of ruining its perfectness... Metallic bags are beautiful yet oh-so fragile (I'm speaking from experience here people!), so I'm watching my every move (and denim encounter) where this Milly satchel is concerned. Apparently I can learn from my mistakes — RIP Betsey Johnson bag.

I've been on a bit of a shopping kick lately (I'm thinking May is gonna have to be another shopping ban month), including a mini online tryst with ASOS. Nothing too crazy, but let's just say that my virtual cart ranneth over with a striped skirt (stay tuned!) and this totally awesome blazer. I don't know if it's the vibrant colours or the in-your-face print, but I'm in love with this blazer and in a big way... And now for the credit card payments.

These ShoeMint beauties have been imprisoned in my closet for months under the tyrannical oppression of Old Man Winter (what a jerk), but yesterday — joy of joys — they finally got to see the light of day and go for a mini stroll...
