Sometimes a deal is just too good to pass up, like this — wait for it — $7 (!!!) dress from H&M. That's right my friends, 7 big ones... I'll just give you a minute to let that sink in.
Now it might not look as good on me as it does on Beyonce (her giant posters pretty much taunted me during checkout), but I don't mind — Like I said before, a deal's a deal. Good thing I'm a sucker for a landscape print, huh?

Is it me, or does this dress look like it was cut from my grandma's curtains? Or better yet, like it was borrowed from Fran Drescher during her stint on The Nanny? Hello lovelies! For this instalment of Wardrobe Wednesday, I thought it would be fun to show you a piece that I haven't worn in quite some time - much to Mr. AIF's dismay, I'm sure! You see, he thoughtfully picked out this bracelet for me a couple of birthdays back, but for some reason it hasn't had much play lately...

Playing Dress-Up...
So after about a year, I finally broke down and got a haircut... Nothing drastic, but just enough to make me feel a little off, you know? Especially when you consider "hair shock," that pesky period right after a cut when your hair refuses to cooperate with you. How rude.
Now I don't know about you, but whenever I feel a little down I find it helps to dress up... Do you guys ever feel that way? Even though it was drizzling out, I decided to pair a Forever 21 dress I hadn't worn in ages (last seen here) with my favourite Rachel Rachel Roy vest. Yup, that's what I wore. To Costco. On a Sunday afternoon. No biggie...
What do you guys do when you feel down? We should form some kind of support group or something... I'll bring the ice cream! :p

Pink, Blue & a Graffiti Wall or Two...
Hi lovelies! We took these photos last week while strolling around downtown Victoria in search of jobs... Although we didn't find any that day, we did, however, find the perfect backdrop for photos. This little alley boasts privacy (as far as downtown alleys go), graffiti and amazing afternoon light... What more could you ask for, you say? Well how about a little background info!
Evidently this alley is where shackled prisoners were led to the gallows, and is supposed to be haunted by not only them, but by a small boy who fell down an adjacent well many moons ago when Victoria was still a fort... Cool, huh? I guess I've been on a fair share of ghost tours in my day.
