{Style} Summer Neutrals...

If you had asked if I liked vests a week ago I would have shrugged and shook my head no, but apparently a lot can change in a week, like swearing off sugar or taking travel mugs to Starbucks. The last few days have proven two things to me: 1. I'm incredibly weak-willed; and 2. I like vests... Hows that for a light bulb moment?

Vest Friend...

Layers, leather and stripes — Oh my! This unseasonably warm weekend was spent in light layers and tights, with the occasional scarf thrown in for good measure... What are you guys wearing to stay warm these days? I wanna know!

What I Wore: Shopping

This is what I wore to go shopping and hang with my friend Kassandra last weekend... I really like this dress (it's new!) because it's casual yet polished, and uber comfy to boot. I decided to pair it with my trusty Forever 21 faux leather vest and H&M fringe bag to toughen it up, and added a braided headband to top things off (pun not intended)... And there you have it! Shopping ensemble complete.

Weekend Warrior...

Do you guys have a weekend uniform? I do. And in case you couldn't tell, it largely consists of comfy dresses (or skirts) and vests... I don't know why, but that seems to be what I gravitate towards at the end of the week. Now don't get me wrong, jeans and a basic tee regularly make appearances on lazy Saturday mornings, but lately I seem to be all about the dress/vest combo... *shrug*
