Although these aren't exactly my style — which is precisely why I've avoided them for so long — the whole comfort factor, coupled with the fact that they now come in neon hues, had me sold. Floral Week: Wardrobe Wednesday

Although I can't walk in them to save my life, I still love my Miu Miu-inspired F21 Mary Janes so... Just looking at them makes me happy! But about five minutes online revealed a whole other crop of floral-print goodness in the shoe department, and now I'm seriously contemplating a floral overhaul where my feet are concerned... Can you think of anything sweeter?

This past Thursday I had the pleasure of attending the Genette Salgado press preview for her S/S 2012 collection, dubbed "Not Fade Away." The event was held at the delightful Duchess Bake Shop, and proved to be a veritable who's-who of the blogging and fashion community. We had a blast catching up, eating tasty treats and swooning over Salgado's latest offerings, which were a refreshing blend of sophistication and whimsy... Ivory bow tie anyone?
