Wardrobe Wednesday with Proopticals

Hello and welcome to another instalment of Wardrobe Wednesday! This week I wanted to show you the glasses Proopticals was nice enough to send me... Aren't they rad?! I mean come on, they're large and in charge, and they bring new meaning to the term 'geek chic.' What's not to like?

Taking a cue from their Urkel-like aesthetic, I decided to pair my glasses (no pun intended) with a preppy sweater and these H&M shorts that I love to bits... For some reason I feel like they all just jive together, like a happy little geeky family. And yes, that's the kind of thought process that goes into styling my outfits... Don't judge.

Hats Off...

I recently discovered these red tights hiding in my closet (a remnant of my Christmas shopping haze) and have diligently tried to incorporate them into looks ever since... After all, I figure I owe them for abandoning them all these months. Lucky for me they don't hold grudges, because these tights look great AND keep me toasty warm... What can I say, I'm a lucky lady. xx

Miss Match...

How do you know you're a print-mixing addict? When you can no longer put together a coordinated outfit to save your life... Somehow I get 'wallflower syndrome' (aka feeling invisible) when I don't blatantly mismatch by conventional standards. Sad but true.

Sidewalk Story...

The other day I met with one of my favourite friends for coffee, a gab sesh and — since we're both bloggers — outfit photos! Can you think of a better way to spend an afternoon? Because I can't! And as if that weren't amazing enough, I awoke that morning to find a lovely little package from Israel on my doorstep... Perfection.

The good people of Hila sent three lovely necklaces my way, including this "Delicate Marilyn" piece that I'm super in love with. I've worn it pretty much non-stop ever since, and I can't wait to show you the other pieces in the weeks to come... Thanks, Hila!
